Class sizes are limited to 12 students.
Ages 5-8 years and Ages 9+
Classes are designed to introduce and progress children in drawing, painting, and clay handbuilding. With a curriculum crafted to engage young minds and hands-on activities that encourage exploration and expression, our Kids Art Series is an ideal opportunity for your child to dive into the world of art and unleash their imagination.
Our series are ongoing, providing opportunities for your child to explore, learn, and grow as young artists!
Art 100: Introduction to Art Fundamentals
Perfect for young beginners, Art 100 Introduces the essential elements of art in a fun and engaging way. Through hands-on projects, students will explore basic techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpture. They’ll learn about color theory, composition, and the use of different mediums, all while developing their own unique artistic style. This foundational course is a prerequisite for advancing to Art 200.
Art 200: Art Techniques
For students who have completed Art 100, Art 200 offers the opportunity to build on their skills and dive deeper into the world of art. This advanced course covers more complex techniques, including mixed media, sgraffito, and advanced painting and drawing methods. Students will also study famous artists and art movements, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of the art world. Art 200 encourages creative expression and hones the skills needed for more ambitious projects.
THESE SERIES ARE SET UP AS A SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR, YOU MAY SIGN UP OR CANCEL DURING THE SERIES (WITH A 30 DAYS NOTICE). YOU MUST MAINTAIN YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO RETAIN YOUR SPOT IN THE CLASS. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
